Colletti
RB #34 Nicholls State
5096, 215, 4.46
(March 19th) senior running back COLT COLLETTI ran between
4.46 and 4.48 in the 40... 6.90 three-cone... 39.5"
vertical... also did 33 reps of 225 pounds, which is
the most recorded/reported by any running back to date...
weighed in at 5096, 215 pounds... three teams were in
attendance for his workout, Dallas, Green Bay and New
Orleans... earlier at Tulane's Pro Day (March 8th) he
ran between 4.50 and 4.55 in the 40... he weighed in
at 5096, 213 pounds... averaged 6.0 yards per carry,
as a senior, gaining 546 yards on just 91 carries, including
six touchdowns... he also averaged 4.5 yards per carry,
as a junior.
He played mostly fullback and wingback, while playing
in an option-style offensive scheme in college... was
a standout high school running back who never really
saw as much time with the ball in his hands, since he
had to share the backfield with several other players,
including a mobile quarterback for most of his college
career... very well-built for his size... terrific motor
and willingness to be a team player... capable of showing
better hands out of the backfield than advertised...
more of a straight-line speed runner, but will lower
his shoulder and can gain extra yardage after contact...
would shows the type of attitude and demeanor to contribute
on special teams... he ran that for scouts at Tulane,
as his own school had not yet planned or setup an actual
Pro Day for him, but he is still eligible to run at
several other state-wide Pro Days if given the clearance
by those programs... #34 on game film.
