DREW'S MYSTERY TO BE REVEALED SATURDAY:

UCLA junior running back MAURICE DREW, who spent most of the team's Sun Bowl victory on the sideline with a minor shoulder injury, will make the announcement about his future at a Saturday press conference, which will likely be held on the campus of De La Salle High School in Concord, California… the speedy Bruins back has an exceptional burst in the open field, ideal hands out of the backfield and was also one of the nation's top return men in 2005... according to one source close to his family, the 5-foot-8, 205-pound slashing-style running back has received notice that he currently carries a solid first day grade, possibly as high as the second round, heading into the final evaluation stage of the scouting process… the same source said that he has spent the past few days with his family reviewing all of his options… to that end Drew was recently quoted as saying, "(I) spent a lot of time talking about my future with my grand- father before he passed away, so I had a great person to confide in… now it is just about finishing up the season on a winning note and sitting down with my mom and family to decide what is best for us"… he's a family-oriented kid, and the passing of his grandfather would make it difficult for his mother and grand-mother to attend all of his games next season, as well.
